Recorded on Concert in the Garden, "Three Romances" includes "Choro Dançado," "Pas de Deux," and "Dança Ilusória." This work was commissioned by the University of Miami and features, tenor, trumpet, soprano, piano and trombone. The first movement can also feature accordion as an alternative. We added an opt. accordion parts for the first and last movements.
Interviews with several musicians who recorded these works will be streamed in your account in 'media shows.' The interviews should help players and directors understand how to approach the music by tapping the experience of the magnificent musicians who have shaped it to be their own over the years. And with that advice, your soloists can practice with the MP3 tracks mixed without solos. Hopefully the videos I've provided on rehearsal tips for all three movements will also be of help in reaching the best performance possible.
