Description

Recorded on The Thompson Fields, "Home" was first premiered at the Newport Jazz Festival in 2013 and dedicated to George Wein. It was commissioned through ArtistShare by Bill & Carol Bloemer, Justin Freed, Paul James, and Little Johnny Koerber. The piece is inspired by the landscape of my home in southwest Minnesota. "Home" is not horribly difficult to play. It's a great feature for a strong tenor player, and a great feature for a good low brass section as well.

There are all sorts of wonderful tools, including alternate mixes for rehearsal and study, an interview with Rich Perry, as well as a rehearsal help video – all included in this offer to get you the best possible results in performance.
